Money well spent. I hope these get posted all over, especially where men typically congregate. Thanks, Glenda.

Yes, I love these too. They have the right message to men by other men.

Any man who won't take no for an answer or would dare strike a woman isn't really a man is he?

On the other hand, it is a bit sexist.

Any person who won't take no for an answer or would dare strike another person isn't really a human.

BTW, I'm doing great right now! Thanks for asking! :)

I like these, but they've got to keep up with the campaign and involve major NFL, NBA and MLB athletes, year in and year out.

I doubt you'd get it, but this would be a great use for the Gates' org.

Peace.

I meant I doubt they'd give the funds. But ya never know.

These are lovely, but I hope there's going to be others, as well. I have nothing to base it on, but I suspect that European-American men are the most likely to rape (something about feeling their power maybe). As a college professor, I've seen an awful lot of "White" "college boys" who were clearly committed to the idea that they had a right to what they perceive themselves as "needing."

betmo, thanks, i like them too.

robert, good to see ya! Where ya been???

good idea, michaelbains!

Actually, according to research, changeseeker, rapists come in all colors, ages, and economic groups. They are about equally proportioned by race. It's usually someone known to their victim, a relative, friend, husband, neighbor, etc.

This is the first time I have ever heard of this campaign. Needless to say - it has not made its way into the south! Wonderful idea. I'm for anything that'll work. I know it's a tad paternalistic - but they are trying to reach a certain kind of male - and they tend to see themselves as paternalistic!

Good idea in such a visual society.

Right on target, Glenda...As usual, I would like to put them all on my site!

It can't hurt...it's a different kind of bombardment for a good change. These should be up just about anywhere.

As we know from this administration, if you say it often enough people start to believe it. Let's hope a campaign like this gets wide attention.

Gosh I love the feminist twist.

Males are the biological "senders' and females the "receivers" so males thus are also "offenders".

Here is a little article regarding a 5 month study about abuse of "significant others". 32% of women admitted they were abusive compared to 24% of men.

WHAT???? Women admitting what they defined as abuse?????? To a greater percentage than men????

I suppose the next study will reveal that hard work can overcome race in determining success???

Of course I won't hold my breath waiting for a poster of women admitting that "My strength is not for hitting".

I expect some female generated abuse over this, especially sprinkled with those famous street words for forced sex, but it was worth it.
