Wiretapping Frenzy

I'm still mad as hell about this whole wiretapping intrusion. The 4th amendment is written as:
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrents shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized
The analogy that came to me as I was driving to work this morning is that Bush broke into my house, put on my old cheerleader outfit, including my underwear, and did a big cheer in the living room. That just ain't right.

I don't think that I'll ever be able to look at a cheerleader again in the same way.

Gawd! That's funny.

Except that the wiretapping and illegal searches are true.

Yeah, I've probably ruined cheerleading for the lot of you.
please, let's impeach!

and Candace, How do you know they haven't come into your home when you were gone? I mean, it's possible... They've gone into some innocent people's homes, I'm sure. Not to imply you would be a high target.

Ya, that Hayden hearing is a joke.

I agree, Fred. Hayden is just another layer of malevolent icing on the cake if he gets the nod to head the CIA.

I'm appalled; both by the softball coverage that the MSM is applying to Hayden so far AND the fact that Dubya doesn't look all that bad in the cheerleeader outfit.

Except, for a guy, he looks like a girl and he is wearing Glenda's old cheerleading costume.

According to the L.A. Times tonight, "Hayden vigorously defended the legality of the Bush administration's domestic wiretapping program."

not for nothing but wasn't bush a cheerleader in his own right in college? or am i confusing him with a school mascot that has a monkey? i would love to hear the wiretaps of his house- maybe we would get to the bottom of his real relationship with laura and condi- or maybe even rummy. who knows?

Okay, upon further inspection (and reflection), I've decided that I have to agree with jm and was absolutely wrong about what I said earlier. Foot in mouth. Musta been some schmutz on the monitor I was using. I still think, though, that the high-kick has made contact with that other Tappette.

I've given up on anything good happening for two and a half more years and there's nothing to cheer about.

I'd pay good money to see him in that uniform.
