Was Karl Rove Wiretapping Fitzgerald??

According to the Seattle Times, Karl Rove testified yesterday for more than three hours before leaving a federal courthouse unsure whether he would be indicted, according to a source close to the presidential aide.

Recently, Josh Bolten came in and started cleaning White House staff. Rove's reduced--but still influential--portfolio at the White House was initiated amidst a flurry of other beheadings and ax in the back demotions, layoffs and buh-byes. Were some of the other "Don't let the door hit you in the butt on the way out" firings a cover to distance him from the president? Did Bushcamp know something was brewing because they were covertly listening in on communicaions from Fitzgerald's office?

One has to wonder if those who brought us the NSA wiretapping have been keeping tabs on correspondence and communications out of Prosecutor Fitzgerald's office. Did they gather information this way and know he was about to be called in again or possibly indicted soon? Or was the timing of his demotion and consequent testimony brfore the grand jury yesterday just "co-incidence?"

Interesting theory. We know they tapped the members of the UN before one of the votes. (before the war started) Who could put any crime past this bunch of heartless crooks. The story is, Rove wasn't doing a good job policy-wise. But since that story came from the white house I would guess that is not the reason at all. I think they wanted Karl out of the spotlight in case he is indicted. Maybe that way he wouldn't leave as much "taint". on the administration.

Who the hell knows?

that and rove's forte is rigging elections. the plan, i think, was to re-route rove for the mid-term elections. the gop is running scared.

Roves face looks like Vader as he took off his helmet before he croaked. Anyway Glenda nothing like a good conspiriacy theory to engorge ones naughty bits. This picture is just wrong on so many levels.lol

I would never have believed that Dubya could do the splits like that. He has always seemed so clumsy to me, falling off his bike, and falling down eating a pretzel and all.

He must be older than I thought, his bust is perky. Old women start looking like men, and old men start looking like women. I'm looking for a training bra myself.

He has been stretching himself in his effort to keep pace with all the deception.....

Karl rove is really strong but George has excellent ankle flexibility. That picture is hot.

I'm going with Betmo's assessment of the situation. I think they need him to throw a monkey-wrench in the mid-term elections.

as to your last query, it would almost surprise me if they were'nt spying ... I would have to believe, however, that Fitzgerald would be in a position to sweep his offices and employ countermeasures and would think to do so ... but then again ... he's up against the company itself ... the picture is frickin' hilarious!!!!

That's what I was thinking, rory, but Rove sould have access to the latest spy technology, computer softare that could invade emails without leaving tracks, phone bugging done remotely by hacking your phone, stuff which Fitzgerald might not have any way to counter or protect.

That whole white house shakeup thing is a bunch of b.s. Rove's still in charge. It's all windowdressing. Nothing has changed.

I am not sure, Neil. I may be wrong, but I think if Rove is indicted, the political vultures will distance, distance, distance, and then go in for a quick kill.

If he is no-billed or not indicted, he will be even more powerful. He will be seen as golden, untouchable.

Lovely image, and they'll get theirs when Bush leaves office and no one with a brain (except Fox News... wait, I said with a brain, so I guess that excludes them, too) hires them.
