DeLay Justiced, squished and terminated. Good riddance.

Since he won in the primary, why quit now. Of course, another aide just pleaded guilty. But I'm with you, his case must not be going so good.

DeLay and his wife, Christine, said they had been prepared to fight, but that he decided last Wednesday, after months of prayer and contemplation, to spare his suburban Houston district the mudfest to come. "This had become a referendum on me," he said. "So it's better for me to step aside and let it be a referendum on ideas, Republican values and what's important for this district."

That's it? We're supposed to believe that DeLay is dropping out because a mudfest just isn't his style?

Homosexual Agenda (as stated by Far-Right)

-X- 1. Totally decimate the meaning of marriage and family in America.

-X- 2. Complete the War on Christmas.

--- 3. Brokeback Mountain for Best Picture.

-X- 4. Force DeLay out of office (just because he's a Christian) on false charges.

He's going to aggressively promote foster care? WTF?

Does this mean he will be climbing onto his lobbyhorse and riding off into the sunset?

So Delay is gone. Woo.
There is still an entire class of a**holes in power! Why are we happy because one particular a**hole isn't coming back? Especially when you know they have hundred more a**holes to replace this one!

But is is nice to have SOMETHING to feel good about.

Justice finally not denied with Justice served on DeLay. I think there might be a quote in there someplace. Amen, good ridance.

I'm "smilin'" here in L.A. I wonder whether this momentum will carry to the highest levels of the administration.

As Tom said, "one down is something." May I add the old proverb, "The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step." Isn't that two down? Don't forget Brownie!
